Andy Winfree
Rhythm Guitar and Vocals

Andy's love for music started when he was eight years old when he picked up his older brother's guitar one night and taught himself three songs before the sun came up the next morning. He hasn't put it down since then!! Born and raised in Choupique (pronounced Shoe-Peek), Louisiana,... Andy started paying his dues and cutting his teeth in the back woods and Honky Tonks of South Louisiana when he was only twelve years old. The first real band he was involved with, he played drums, so don't be surprised when you see him slip back behind the drum kit and play while Roland takes center stage and melts the crowd with his dynamic vocals.
When Disco came around in the 80's......Andy had turned his focus
to Christian Rock music and spent most of that time as an opening act called "Andy
Winfree and Freedom Highway" for some famous entertainers such as Sammy Hall, Pat
Boone, and the Letter Men. He has even been on stage with Three Dog Night in New Orleans
singing "Joy to the World" to a sold out audience. But don't be surprised
to catch him singing some of those 1980 classic's from that era like "Brick
House" or "Celebrate" when you see him perform with Easy Money!! He then
took a short vacation and in 1988, Easy Money was born!!!
According to Andy, Easy Money is the most successful dance band he's ever been
affiliated with. With everyone taking their turns on lead vocals and sharing their parts
on harmony, they are able to produce everything from Pop and Country,
to Rock and Roll.
Andy is very happily married with four kids and his favorite song is "The Chair"
by George Strait, which he sings to Bekki as often as possible. :o)
